My mother's phone was at a wedding and she reported the matter to the police station. She has always known that she has insurance but to her surprise, she was told that there are no documents that show that she has insurance. Who would buy a Nokia N9 and not insure it? She was also told that there is nothing they can do as the guy who assisted her had resigned. There was also another customer at Westgate on the same day we went who had the same problem. Now they also do not want to cancel the contract. She has not received any statements in a while now.
We would like to know what steps to take now as there has been no joy speaking to call centre agents and direct store team members. The contract should be cancelled now that there is no phone. Whay must she continue paying R500 every month with no phone. The guy who had assisted her had also cut the SIM card incorrectly instead of advising her to purchase a new one which is already cut to a mini SIM.What do we do when customers receive such poor service when they are bringing revenue to the business. We need assistance as soon as possible with regards to this matter.
