Appalling Service: Repairs Damaged My Device

About 3 months ago, I decided to get the Samsung Galaxy S4 with Cell C.Then, about 2 months later, it started giving problems. About 3 weeks ago, I booked the phone in for repairs at the Cell C branch in Tygervalley, where the consultant completed the inspection and wrote on my repair slip "No Scratches" as there were no scratches/damage on the device. Last night, I went to collect my device, I asked them what was the problem was with my phone and what they did to fix it. On the job report, there was nothing at all to state what the problem was or what they did or needed to do to repair it. Nobody in that store could give me an answer.
Upon inspection of my device, I noticed that there was a crack on the back cover and the cover was peeling at the USB charging port. I told the consultant this and he just looked at it. No apology, nothing. I asked him to make a note of this and he did so on the 'system'.
I really think this is appalling service as I did not book my device with any external damages and why does it seem like 'it's my fault'. I did not ask them to damage my device so why do I have to accept this?! And I have a right to know what they did to my device in order to repair it.
