MTN Department are ABSOLUTELY USELESS! On 31 August an illegal debit order went off my account... After spending hours on the phone with MTN Customer Care; Credit Control Dept, they finally got the Voice Recording and ascertained that yes my voice does not match the voice of the person who took the contract out in my name illegally. I am now told 16 days later that I must just wait for the investigation to be completed before receiving MY MONEY back that was from me! R1650.00 - Who has that kind of money sitting around?! I am DISGUSTED by this behaviour... I understand investigations have to take place, but now that the voice recording has been confirmed that it is not me, why must I wait?! I am not even a customer of MTN so there is no confusion next to my name with other contracts or anything! I keep having to phone and follow up! Makes me sick the service that we receive in this country!
