Delayed SIM swap and no Service

My name is BM Paul having an account with MTN for a long period. It was time for my upgrade for which I had to pre- order the hand set (Galaxy S4). I was notified the availability on Sunday 8th Sept. I went to the store in Brooklyn, Pretoria and renewed my contract on 9th Sept. I was told that the new hand set takes micro SIM and would require a SIM swap, which will be done within 2 - 24 hrs. 24 hours passed, I called the customer service to enquire about the delay. I was told to go back to the store and re- request SIM swap (call ref: 103930015). on 12th I went to the store and re-requested SIM swap. I was told that it would happen any time on the same evening. At around 9.45pm my old hand set stated NO SERVICE, on checking the new one it has also no Service and sates that Not registered on the network. Now I have contract in place which I am paying but have no connectivity. I am very unhappy with this whole episode and would require an urgent intervention. Email: [Email Removed]
