Bill Dispute on 2GB Cancelled Contract

I received a 3g card offer from Cell C during July 2013 and within a week I cancelled that contract because it was slow in performance. On the 26/07/2013 RAM couriers as sent by Cell C came to collect the speed stick, to my shock on my July bill I was billed for August and when I phoned Cell C I was told that the contract is not cancelled and to date I have emailed and phoned several times and no feedback and now my concern is the next billing date is coming and I am afraid that I am going to billed for the service not rendered. I am told that someone from retention department is going to call me regarding my refund and the cancelation and to date this hasn't taken place. I need Cell c to refund my August premium which they billed and also cancel this 3g contract because I have since returned the speed stick. The following are some of the case numbers:- 3090304283, 130828001824. I am annoyed with Cell c and I can't wait for my current 2 contract to end, their service is appalling.
