On 23 Aug 2013 we booked in my wife's Blackberry 9360 at Kolonnade branch to be repaired. The charging port was faulty and we had to wiggle the charger, which would then sometimes charge the phone, but mostly not. We informed the consultant that we both used our phones for business purposes and that the repair was urgent. We were informed that it would take 21 days. On 27 Aug we received an sms saying that the BB was awaiting spares at the service centre. On 3 Sep we received an sms saying that the BB was dispatched back to the Kolonnade branch, were we could collect it in 4 days. On Friday, 6 Sep we collected the BB from the Kolonnade branch only to find that the problem was exactly the same. The phone was NOT repaired. I spoke to Edwin (branch manager) telephonically informing him of such and then took the BB back to the branch. Edwin and another consultant tested the phone with two other chargers and found the problem to be unresolved. He informed me that we would have to book in the BB and wait another 21 days, that we could only have a new BB after 2 x repairs!! Both my wife and I rely on our phones for business. We cannot wait another 21 days! Telkom, Sort out my problem!!!
