"Out of stock" becoming a habit

Received sms that I could upgrade. Went in store, was told that phone is out of stock but they would get in, in a weeks time. Went back in a week, still no phone. Was asked if I would like to take different phone, however the alternative was more expensive. When pointing this out was told that it is not much more, that is a matter of opinion surely? I feel very disappointed as I had the same problem when I took out my contract 2 years ago. Perhaps it is time to look for a new service provider?
