I ordered a phone with MTN on August a Samsung Galaxy s3. When my phone was delivered FORTUNATLEY i received a call from MTN, they then wanted to confirm particular details like my address, and date of debit order. The consultant then told me that according to their system they should debit their phone fees on the 25th of every month, which is not what i told the consultant whom i ordered the phone from. I get paid on the 28th of every month and i told the consultant who made my application that i get paid on the 28th and my debit should rather fall on the 31st. Nevertheless it was clear that the date was wrong and it had to be fixed to the correct date, the gentlemen who made the courtesy call assured me that he is fixing it and changing the date to the correct date, he said he was calling from MTN Cape town. To my surprise on the 25th of Aug an sms from ma bank came through and said a debit order from MTN came through? I called them again and got a supervisor called Yongama who assured to fix it, on the 3rd i got an sms from MTN that said i was taken off the debit order system n am now a cash paying customer, and another said am my debit order has changed. They seem not to care.
