I was declined a neotel contract based on my finances. This was the first joke as I currently have a R3 mil house in my name, bondfree, many shares, no debt, and earn R20 000/month, semi retired.
I challenged this on principle and was eventually granted a contract. I complained to the general manager of neotel, and he asked for a copy of the emails between myself and the financial manager who erroneously rejected my application.
This was 4 months ago, and to this day, I have not received an official apology or explanation from Neotel's general manager!
I don't need neotel, but pursued this on principle! Maybe the GM needs to go on a 'customer service' education programme before he sends his employees?
Secondly, the financial 'manager' needs to up his game' and do a little more homework on EACH application, before turning down potential CLIENTS/CUSTOMERS??!!?!
