Phone line off then back with wrong number

I am very disappointed at Telkom. Our phone line was off for approximately two weeks. I tried to report the fault, but was told that the problem was part of an area outage (Ref: 114CRZ110813).
On Sunday, 18 August 2013 we found that our line was active again. Yesterday, 21 August 2013 we started to receive numerous calls. All the people wanted to speak to Dr Willie Smith, a dentist. Now, I am no dentist, but this started to worry me. After using my landline to phone myself on the cellphone, I discovered that my number has changed.
It seems that Telkom managed to swop my number for another. How is this possible? I tried to report this problem yesterday, but I could not because they are still working on the old problem.
When will this be fixed? At this stage all the patients are starting to annoy me, because I have to explain the problem all the time and I am sure that the Dentist is losing business this way.
I hope he sues the lot at Telkom.
I think it is time for me to take my business somewhere else.
