Autopage has ruined my credit record

I signed up for a new contract in September 2012. After very poor service by not having my line activated after 3 days, I decided to cancel the contact & return the phone. For months following I would have amounts debited off my account, & statements mailed to me. Eventually after about 5 months the matter was sorted out & no more debits were taken off my account. I was under the impression that the matter was now closed.

The anger, irritation, embarrassment & inconvenience is because of what happen today-13 August 2013. I applied for an account but it was rejected, the reason being is because I have an account that is 4 months in arrears. I contacted the ITC & they told me that it is an Autopage account that is in arrears! THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE that I have been so inconvenienced by something that is not my problem & was suppose to be sorted out almost a year ago!!

I called in & spoke to an agent Starlin, who was very helpful in lodging my problem. He said it could take up to 3 working days to get a letter to state what the error was. This once again is UNACCEPTABLE. The ITC takes another 20 working days to fix the issue. Meaning I cannot do anything for the next month!
