I took up a Cell C Data contract through FNB Connect... What a mistake! Firstly whenever I try connect I 9/10 times get an error message telling me to contact my service provider as there is no connection. I have a clone sim in my iPad and even that doesn't work! I have bars for Cell C and can message but as soon as I try internet/ data related actions there is NOTHING!!! Occasionally on a weekend in the middle of the day I can receive emails on my PC, but week days and evenings are a joke! It is a 2GB package but I doubt I managed to use that much given the lack of connectivity. I was also expecting to pay the advertised and confirmed via phone by FNB R119 per month... I received a bill from Cell C for R494.30. split into 2 amounts neither of which were R119! I had previously complained to FNB with regards to the Cell C Data package as I'm unable to use it most of the time. As it is 12 days into August and not once have I managed to use it! I have been trying to sort out the billing issue since end of July. Last I heard they had to confirm the package price with FNB, so clearly they don't know their products! I just got cut off again while trying to get an answer, so annoyed!
