XCELL CHARGING RIDICULOUS FEES

On the 14-04-2011 we took a 2 year Cell Phone contract out with XCELL (PAY AS YOU GO) with the understanding that we will be charged R279.00 over 24 months ALL fees included, totalling a loan amount of R6696.00 over this period.

In July and August 2011 two payments of R279.00 each was not settled due to the debit orders returned by my bank but subsequently ALL other payments was settled by us up now.

The result: For the 2 Debit orders returned by my Bank, XCELL charges me R456.00 (Rejection Fees) that was added to the balance of my contract and additional interest charged of R960.76, a total penalty charge of R1416.76 for missing 2 payments. This do NOT include the two returned debit order amounts still payable.

In short, we paid R8112.76 for a Blackberry Curve 8520 valued at R1799.00 - instrument only.
