Lack of transparency and ignoring my requests

I contacted iBurst in order to make use of their services. When this finally happened (taking a week instead of the stated 2 days on their website) I discovered that they had not been transparent about their network shaping policies regarding downloads, both direct and peer to peer. I only managed to get between 10 and 30% of the speed I paid for. I ended up only being able to use 14% of the paid-for package. Then, when I wanted to cancel my contract, I was told that I am liable for 40% of my yearly fees, amounting to roughly R3000.00. Effectively, if I cancelled my contract, I would have gotten a return on investment of 1.12%. I then tried to compromise by trying to change my contract to a lower billed one with less data, but I have been ignored since opening of business on the 1/8/2013. Basically, there was no transparency with policy (I rechecked the agreement I signed) and the customer service is horrible. I would not recommend this service to anyone.
