Cell C

I previously complained about another Cell C store. Now I pay a huge compliment to Mbusi at Eastgate.

From the time I spoke to Mbusi over the phone about the (seemingly hard to get) phone I sought, to the moment he handed it to me, Mbusi was proactive, efficient and professional.

First, he promised to check stock and call me back, and did so within 15 minutes. When I got to the store a little later, it was busy, yet all staff seemed on point. So kudus to the whole store. But it was Mbusi who made my day. He remembered my name and requirements, and appeared well prepared.

It wasn't the simplest transaction I required. Open a second line on contract, port a number from another network, migrate the first line to pre-paid, etc. (I learned all these terms there and then). But Mbusi went through it calmly and efficiently, sending me off with the promise that I could collect my phone the next day, when the contract would have been activated. And so it was.

Although farther away than several other Cell C stores, I will now only visit the Eastgate one, thanks to Mbusi and his thoroughly professional service, exemplifying the service I would wish to receive anywhere at Cell C. Well done.
