Absoloutely horrified with service recieved!

I submitted my Samsung S3 into the Canal Walk store on the 8th June for a cracked screen. I was told by the consultant that helped me that my insurance would definitely cover the damage and it would take 4-6 weeks for repairs as it has to be sent to Jhb.
4 weeks later (8th July) I called Autopage NHO to confirm the status of my repair and was told that there is no handset with them at all. I subsequently was told that there was a mistake and my phone had been sitting at a supplier in CT for the last 4 weeks!!! I was promised that she would put an urgent note on the phone to go to Jhb and be repaired and covered by insurance asap.
I NOW receive an sms quoting me almost R3000 to fix my phone even though I have the R5000 insurance package on my account!
I find this service absolutely shocking and I wish to be compensated in some way for the inconvenience of not having a phone for 6 weeks and having to spend forever on the phone trying figure out where and when my phone is being repaired!
I have subsequently been told by Fin Right that this amount is insured. I have been a customer for years and have only ever had AWFUL service! I am definitely taking my business somewhere else!!!
