I am being charged for an international sms that I have not been sending. I upgraded my cell c contract on the 20th of June 2013 and ever since I am being charged for an international sms that I have no knowledge of. I called in on the 21/06/2013 to complain when I noticed that I had a "current usage" charge and was surprised because my contract includes- available minutes, sms/mms and data. The consultant advised me that I was sending an sms to an international number which is very strange as I have not been sending these and I am the only person that has access to my cellphone, also the times that the sms were sent, that were given to me by the agent, I was not even on my handset, some ridiculous times like 05:00 in the morning. I have called in 4 times since then but have received no resolution or satisfaction. The last time I called was on Friday and the agent advised me that it has been escalated and I should receive a call by Tuesday (yesterday) but I have not. My data usage is currently at R21.12 but cell c cannot give me an explanation as to how and why. It is a small amount but my concern is that it could reach into the hundreds of rands if not resolved.
