BEEN 2 WEEKS AND SIM STILL NOT ACTIVATED

It has now been 2 weeks, that I received my phone, but the sim card has still not been activated, I called the call centre numerous times, and during each call, I was advised that the activation will take 24hours. I even took my phone to the store in Midrand, an assistant by the name of Terrance assisted me, he took my SIM card to the Network department, got the dam thing activated, but told me again to wait for the card to be RICA'D. It has been 3 hours since then, and still NOTHING has been done.

I am sooo furious with this incompetent service provider, I cannot even return the phone cause they want to charge me R105 for each day that I had a phone THAT DOES NOT WORK!!!

I am now going to escalate this matter, seeking advice from the consumer act, to see how I can resolve this issue as clearly no one can assist me, the only answer that I do get is ' PLEASE WAIT 24 HOURS.
IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON THIS, I WOULD NOW BE DEAD.
