On the evening of the 30th of May 2013 at 18h06 I handed in my Iphone4 for repairs at Vodacom Repairs Cresta. The job number allocated to me on my job receipt is 8906169-56146858. As per the job card, the fault reported is: "Cant read card... Keeps on searching for signal.
After handing in my phone, I received no feedback whatsoever from them until the 5th of June 2013 when Pricilla contacting me requesting a serial number on my box.
This was given and once again silence.
Finally I followed up with them and was told that they tried to contact me but had my contact number wrong. (As per my e-mail correspondance with them, my cel number is listed on my signature?)
I was then informed that the repair will cost R5698.86.
I requested a detailed quotation as I would like to know what I am paying for. Up to date I have not received this.
I feel this cost is outragious, as I can purchase a new Iphone4 at this price.
The service level of this shop is way below par.
