Blacklisted phone Very much in use by!!!

My new Blackberry was in April 2013 - I followed all the procedures & filled in a Blacklisting form to black list the handset. Yesterday evening, I found out that my BBM is in use! I contacted your call centre this morning & spoke to Mafika who confirmed that my Blackberry was Blacklisted by MTN in April 2013. When asked him to explain how is it that my BBM is still in use, he said he would have to transfer me to the Blackberry helpdesk. Needless to say, my call was cut off!!! I tried calling MTN again & all you get are "machines". Can somebody please call me & explain how a, blacklisted phone is still in use!! Im waiting for someone from MTN to contact me urgently to explain. Or I will cancel my existing contract
