I find it sad that I have te resort to this forum to get a simple answer from MTN. I recently ported to MTN due to coverage problems at my premises. I opted for the iPhone 5 which took a week to get approved??? Upon receipt I asked whether the phone and sim is provisioned for LTE the response I got from Barbara Mohomi was "We do not have 128k nano sim cards" After searching various forums and the poorly navigating MTN website, I found out that you do need a 128k sim and must be provisioned for LTE. After I questioned whether this is the case with my number, Omar Daniels responded "I have escalated the below with our marketing department to amend. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused" Still no answer to my question.
I've sent numerous emails, logged queries on MTN active but to no avail. Not a single person is responding to my requests. This is not brain surgery MTN, it is a YES or NO answer followed by HOW.
Is the LTE service available on the Iphone 5 on MTN and if so, how can I get it activated. Simple question!!
Note to MTN; This is not the way to treat a newly acquired customer.
Let's see how long it takes for somebody with a brain to wake up and answer me
