Poor Cell Phone Reception & No Data Connection

I've been a cell C customer for several years and have just upgraded my contract and received the iphone 5. The service was superb from the upgrades call centre and my cell phone was received within 24 hours! Well Done Cell C.

However here comes the problem. I have activated the cell phone - I receive call however the reception is sooo bad that none of the calls are able to be continued, calls also continuously drop after a few seconds of speaking. My internet data cannot be activated!

I'm not sure if this is a iphone5 issue or if it's a cell c network problem however if it's either i would like my contract cancelled and the handset replaced or I would rather return it. I am not interested in sending in the iphone for repairs and i'm without a phone as it is brand new (2 days old)
