FALSE ADVERTISING!!!

I bought the Sony E-Dual phone on promotion on topup for R129.99 per month.according the the specification the phone comes with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) software. I later realised the phone has the previous generation 4.0 (Ice cream Sandwich). I took my phone to my local Cell C store in fourways Mall and showed them that what is advertised and what i have regarding software are two different things. The Lady there tried to assist by calling Sony customer support regarding upgrading my software to the Jelly bean 4.1, however it required me linking to my pc and upgrading of the internet. I advised the cell c Lady I cant do that as it will cost me atleast 300 to 400mb of data to upgrade and its software the phone is advertised to have. Thus Cell C is falsly advertising. I asked if they cant upgrade the software at the store and I was advised they dont know how to. i then asked do you know where i can go, she called several cell c stores to find out Northgate, sandton and others cant do an instore cell phone software upgrade. To be frank i find that shocking that a simple basic service could not be done at store level.so its sent to repairs for 21 working days without a loan unit.
