Pathetic service!

I am a client with MTN and a loyal one. I have had a contract with the service provider and it has been since forever now. I call today to ask if I can be considered for an Apple Mac Book Pro as an added line, and guess what, both agents tell me that they do not have stock and are not sure when they will receive stock. I mean, the Product is on the system as available but they are out of stock. I have never heard such a pathetic service in my life. Like, why can I not order and when the stock becomes available, then it gets delievered? I am not applying for a new contract, I am adding a line for Heaven's sake! Please intervene, I do not understand what the problem is!
