I EMAILED VODACOM TWICE IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS: ONCE TO ENQUIRE ABOUT CONVERTING MY PREPAID LINE BACK TO CONTRACT, AND ONCE TO INSTRUCT VODACOM TO CANCEL AN EXISTING LINE WHICH CONTRACT HAD REACHED ITS EXPIRY. INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH ONLY THE NEW BUSINESS REQUEST WAS ANSWERED AND THE CANCELLATION INSTRUCTION WAS CONVENIENTLY IGNORED: IN THE HOPE THAT A BUSY CUSTOMER, SUCH AS MYSELF, WOULD NOT HAVE THE TIME TO CHASE UP ON THE REQUEST?? AFTER BEING A LOYAL CLIENT OF VODACOM FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING MOVING ALL 3 OF MY CONTRACT LINES AS WELL AS MY 3G TO THE COMPETITION! VODACOM DO A GREAT JOB OF DISCOURAGING PREPAID SERVICES BY EXTREMELY LIMITING THE ONLINE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO PREPAID CUSTOMERS (WHICH I DISCOVERED ONCE I HAD CONVERTED MY OLDEST LINE WITH THEM FROM CONTRACT TO PREPAID) BEING MY PRIMARY / FIRST ACCOUNT / LINE WITH VODACOM THIS IS SUPPOSEDLY THE ACCOUNT WHICH HOLDS THE MASTER AUTHORISATION OVER ALL MY OTHER SERVICES / LINES BUT MY ONLINE PROFILE ON THIS NUMBER ALLOWS ABSOLUTELY NO SUCH FUNCTIONALITY!? THEY ARE SO INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT THEIR "CONTACT US" EMAIL FUNCTIONALITY BLOCKS YOUR EMAIL WITH A PAGE OF DIY ARTICLES!?
