When I received my monthly statement and noted a new subscription deducting R17.54 VAT per day. I queried with Autopage, query M130624117. Autopage replied stating that I am subscribed (full service) to smartcall, and supplied me with the contact details.
On 11 June 2013 I received a sms from smrartcall (mobthumbs) advising that I am subscribed (without my request) and that R20.00 per day would be deducted from my cell phone account. I also stated that I must reply stop to stop the subscription. I replied stop within 2 minutes.
Who gives Autopage the authority do deduct funds from my account, by a 3rd party, without confirming it with me. I other words any body can go to Autopage and request deductions from account and sit back and collect money.
This is shocking service!!
