Cancellation of a contract which takes two months

MTN Direct called me offering me a contract of which I took to the MTN service centre which is situated on Rivonia and Summit road in Rivonia, a few days later the contract was delivered. Upon getting home activated my sim card opened the laptop, etc. Tried to log onto to the Internet of which worked but extremely slow. When i called the MTN call centre and asked them why is my Internet slow, they asked me to do a few changes on settings on my laptop which did not work. Upon calling the second time of which they discovered there was no 3G coverage in my area which was confirmed with MTN coverage department. The laptop was then returned within the 5 day period, I have made minimal usage on the data of which I will pay. This happened two months ago of which two debit orders went off my account and I called the call centre today again and still no cancellation has been done on my contract. I feel MTN service is just pathetic in terms of customer service. I am tired of calling MTN, not to sure what is the problem, to cancel a simple contract takes two months, this is ridiculous.
