After cancelling my contract in due time and requesting a SIM card conversion to Cell C prepaid, my phone stopped working on December, 28th but the SIM card didn't work. Today, three weeks, two visits to Autopage Menlyn and 20 phone calls to the call centre for R 300 afterwards the number still hasn't been activated.
Every time I call, I get a different reason for why it is not working. Maybe simply to make me call again and spend more money waiting in the line. The supervisor even told me that I should actually be glad that they are still helping me at all since I cancelled my contract... What a "great" service after having paid them for two years.
The only thing they are good at is getting their money from the customers on time. But their service towards the customers is the worst I have ever experienced with any company - whether due to incompetence or on malicious purpose is for someone else to judge, but either one is bad.
So after all the money and time I lost, friends who got angry with me for not replying, job offers I lost out on because the potential employer could not get hold of me, here a very sincere advise to everybody: Don't ever enter into a contract with Autopage
