I accepted an upgrade to the Apple Iphone 5 via Cell c's diect sales department. The phone was delivered to me via courier. Cell c was unable to do a sim swop to the apple iphone micro sim nor connect me. The store advised that they cannot do a sim swop because the upgrade was not registered on the system and that i should request that they update the upgrade. I called Cell c again only to be advised that they cannot register the upgrade until i do a sim swop! There appeared to be no solution to the problem. I was then directed to the retentions department and i explained the problem to Lebo (ref 1304160000010364) and advised that cell c cant connect me to the phone or register the upgrade so i suggested my cotract on 0839638195 BE CANCELLED and the phone collected from me. Their courier collected the phone, waybill RW12453482. I sent an email to cellc on 11 Apr requesting cancellation of contract, contract ended 20 May. I received an sms on 19 may that my upgrade is successful!! But i returned the phone!! Now Cell c is not allowing me to port my number and still holding me responsible for the phone despite me phoning them with the waybill number!! Please help. This is a nightmare!!
