FINAL DEMAND ON A CLOSED ACCOUNT??!!!

I had contract with AltechAutopageCellular, my contract ended Aug 2012. 20/07/2012, I contacted Altech to inform them I no longer need the contract & they can cancel it, I'm not upgrading. Spoke to Girly, she submitted my request & confirmed that the contract will be cancelled & that simcard will be converted to pre-paid -Ref # 1898613. Last debit was taken for the acc & the contract was cancelled & the simcard was blocked, I had to struggle 2months before they un-blocked & converted my simcard to pre-paid. On the 07/09/2012, I received a bill from Altech to say that my account is R900 overdue, for September, I phoned Altech, spoke to Fusi and eplained that this cant be, the simcard was de-activated on 20/08/2012. How can I get billed for something after the service has been disconnected?! Fusi said they will credit this acc and close the query -Ref # A120907638. 22/04/2013 I received a final demand and phoned Altech once again, spoke to Robert- Credit Control, explained the whole situation to him, he saw on system the service had been cancelled, he'll have the acc dep. write off the amount & I dont need to pay. But now again I receive a FINAL DEMAND - 21/05/2013. Is this a joke??!
