New contract 4 May (Somerset West store), new Samsung Galaxy S3! Continuous Input not working. Took to closest Vodcaom shop (Stb). No one could advise. Back to store I bought it from (PRECIOUS SATURDAY) I'm sent to Vodacom Repairs. More waiting. Technicians recommend OBF. Phone sent away. Get silly loan phone, struggle for a week. Finally sms from Vodacom: phone ready for collection. yay! Erase my stuff off loan phone. Drive to Vodacom Repairs (PRECIOUS SATURDAY) Lengthy search in storeroom produces same phone I bought, not fixed. Message from JhB: "OBF rejected. Did not understand fault description" which btw read: "Continuous input not working" Vodacom Repairs say will send phone back to Jhb with explanation of CI. Heated words follow. A technician suddenly suggests it might be a software problem which can be fixed in store!! I am sent (chased?) away with the loan phone (now with all my stuff erased!) and an insincere promise to check software and call back next day. Still waiting. 2 wasted Saturdays, no concern for how awrul this has been for me. Vodacom gets away with this because they know that to cancel my service means dealing with dreaded CUSTOMER CARE. Not up to it
