Would like assistance from Consumer Complaints Commision. In October 2012 my husband was contacted by someone from Telkom with regards to a Telkom line. My husband explained that we did not want a normal rental line as we previously had a Telkom line and found it a waste of money, as all of us had cellphones. After some time my husband agreed to a prepaid line. On the 14th of October 2012 a technician came to our house, and after I confirmed with him that he was going to install a prepaid line, the line was installed and the technician explained to me what I needed to dial to load airtime. We purchased a voucher and tried to load it, to no avail. It didn't work. We have contacted 10210 on numerous occations and explained that we did not agree to this line and that the line did not work and have requested that they come and disconnect the line, only to be put on hold or cut off. On the 12/2/2013 I submitted a complaint on [URL Removed] and still got no response. Now we received a call from NUDEBT telling us that we are liable for this account, and that we have to pay the account even though it was not the product we agreed to and we were never able to make or receive
