Promises not met, no response from store

I visited Telkom Direct, 128 Main road, Somerset West, Cape Town yesterday Tuesday 14th May 2013 to have a number of issues dealt with regarding my new account with Telkom.
Pumla assisted me. The store was severely under-staffed (management issue?). I signed as an assignee on the account and also got my 8.ta sim card.
Pumla promised to have the sim card RICA'd by end of business same day.

Today (13:14 Wednesday 2013) I am still unable to manage the account from my side. The call centre agents tell me there's no record of my id numner and other details which suggests that the assignee paperwork has still not been processed.

Also my sim card STILL says "sim card registration failed" which I'm told suggests that the RICA process has not been completed, contrary to the promise made by Pumla yesterday.

This is all fine and well, expect... I'm told in both cases that I must deal with the store itself to resolve the issues.

I have beem calling two different numbers at the store almost continuously since 8:30 this morning and have left numerous voice messages for Pumla and the manager, Anton Wessels.

I find it outrageous that my calls and messages could go unanswered for so long.
