A call centre agent for Nashua mobile sold me a contract with unlimited calls.
On receipt of the package I tried to activate the phone, after call Nashua mobile I was informed that the contract was only a top up 50 - not what I was promised telephonically.
Here is where the fun begins... since that day I have been trying to cancel the contract.
First I got referred to a 031 818 3000 number - here I was promised that the contract would be cancelled by a lady named Marleen.
To my surpirise my account was debited a the end of the month with an amount of R245.00
I tried the same number again just to be informed that Marleen no longer works there
I phoned the Nashua call centre on daily basis and then got referred to Digima 021 812 1700
I tried calling the number about 15 times a day but the number is always engaged.
I managed to get through eventually just to be told that they would send an email to cancel the contract and that someone will call back.
Up to date I have had no call from anyone and yet my account has been debited for 2 months already but the cellphone is still inactive.
