My E63 switched on showing only a white screen (it never gave me any problems in the 6 years I had been using it). I took it to Nokia Care in Hatfield, Pretoria. First, the lady tried to convince me it was liquid damage and being extremely rude by not allowing me time to explain the problem. She kept interrupting me and told me I don't know what I am talking about. Eventually after an hour I managed to get to explain the problem and the prices associated with the different types of repair options and submitted the phone for an assessment. I was told I could collect the phone at 10h00 the following day - they made me wait an hour!!! Then they told me I should buy a new phone because my phone's motherboard was faulty and tried to convince me to buy the new Lumia. I knew the motherboard was not faulty and took the phone to another cell phone repair agent where I was told that the LCD screen was at fault. It has been repaired by the other outlet and since then I had no problems whatsoever. The service, attitude and incompetency of Nokia Care is an insult to a company that used to be excellent!
