I received a telephone call from 2 membership consultants regarding renewal of my membership in
Dec 2012/Jan 2013 because the contract was about to end. I explained that I was canceling the membership because I was relocating. At no stage was I informed that I had to cancel in writing.
Despite the above and a subsequent instruction in writing my account has been debited on a monthly basis.
Planet Fitness has betrayed my trust. I gave out my banking details in good faith for the levy only as requested by the membership consultant but instead they have been deducting from my account on a monthly basis for an membership that is cancelled
