Rowing machines, recumbent bikes, fitness staff

Members are allowed to abuse the rowing machines as they please, which leads to degraded performance. Maintenance on the rowing machines are also not up to scratch. I have discussed this countless times with the manager, Jaco Marais, but he abdicates his responsibility to enforce the club rules.

Fitness staff supposed to monitor the situation on the floor is usually slacking. Hiding away in offices, aimless loitering, endless chitchat with each other and members they fancy. Just the other day I caught a guy sleeping in an office. They should be actively working the floor, assisting members and enforcing club rules.

Recumbent bikes are not stable on the floor; shaking and rocking. Also some of the seats don't clip securely to the rail causing a slipping motion on the rail. The general condition of the recumbent bikes leaves much to be desired. I have been on this with the manager for the past 14 months and all he does are to pass the buck to Technogym. If the issue with the bikes can't be resolved, it should be replaced with new ones. I want a plan of action with dates from Virgin. Not just vague promises and excuses.
