Transfered to another city at the beginning December and started gyming in Cape Town, and I thought wow this is great, all gym access for December. When January comes by, I was blocked from going to the Cape Town gym, which is understandable. Then I called the call centre to have my gym membership changed to Cape Town. I was told it was changed and that I would be paying R300 more that what I was currently paying..What??? I immediately requested a cancellation for the end of Jan. Who would want to pay a 100% increase in your premuim. To top it all off the membership was transferrred to the wrong branch??? I went to the Cape Town branch and they embarrassed me in front of all the clients refusing me access to the gym or wanting to sort this matter out for me. I refused to call the call centre again and expect a facetoface situation to be sorted out. I never signed a contract with a call centre. I've had enough of Virgin Active and want my Jan premuim refunded or I will have it reversed. Its ridiculous of the endless problems i've had to endure with Virgin. I'm definitely going somewhere else and so glad I'm done with them!
