I went to virgin active to join due to a advertisement stating the first month's subscription is "on us". When you sign a years contract it means your signing for 12 months and the "month on us" means that you only pay for 11 months if I am correct. The staff member did not understand this although 2 other staff members including the manager understood what their so called policy stated. The staff member that did not understand was so rude and did not give me time to speak. He stated that the one month "on us" meant that you subscribe 13 months and thus pay for 12 months. This was not my problem. My problem was that 2 of the members told me otherwise that you only pay for 11 months. It is not the clients problem if the staff does not know their policy, but I had to pay the price. If 2 staff members agree that you only pay for 11 months I would beleive them and not the arrogant rude staff member. He did not even give me time to try and explain and when I said a word he interrupted me or did not even listen. This was totally unexeptable to me and I am verry dissapointed in the way the matter was handled.
