On 12 November 2013 i walked into Planet fitness Rivonia to update my membership with my reality gym benefit which entitles me to a 20% discount on my monthly subscriptions. I gave the required details and was told the link was initiated and would be completed in the same week. My 1 December payment was NOT discounted so on 3 December i followed up with the gym and requested a refund as i had given all relevant details, to which i ONLY received a pathetic response on 6 December asking for my PREVIOUSLY SUPPLIED reality membership number AGAIN. I resent this and even included an email from reality people confirming my membership. once again my 1 January 2014 payment WAS STILL NOT discounted, and still NO refund or any response on this issue. it is pathetic stories each time i enquire on this issue. why the does Planet fitness advertise a list of partners on their website only to turn around and show their members the middle finger once the members take up membership with the gym's partners in order to enjoy some discounts? Perhaps it is time the gym removed the list of partners from it's website and just be a standalone provider of pathetic service!!
