I have been a member of Planet Fitness in Bedfordview for 5 years, paying R195.00 per month by stop order.

On the 19 August 2013, after discussing the matter with Ofentse, I gave 6 weeks notice of my resignation from Planet Fitness, and then rejoined as a Liberty Life client, which would cost me R80.00 per month.

I was paid up until the end of September 2013, but Planet Fitness saw fit to take another R195.00 off for October 2013 and i have been struggling since then to obtain a refund.

I received an e-mail from Ofentse, dated the 23 December 2013, (after many mails back and forth) telling me my refund was declined as I had immediately activated my membership with Burn Joules (who i have never heard of).

I think this is very poor customer service.
