When I entered into my contract I specifically informed the sales person that I was moving back to Durban in December 2013 and therefore was only interested in taking out a contract until the end of November. He assured me that this was ok and that my contract would be until that date. He also assured me that taking out the contract would only cost me the R300 joining fee, the R100 tag fee and then R245 per month until November.

Not only did Planet Fitness charge me twice for the tag fee (which they still haven't reversed) but they have debited my account three times in November and inform me that my contract will end in 12months time only.

They refuse to let me speak to the sales consultant who sold me the contract and the manager has not gotten back to me (despite my two phone call and one visit to the gym). The receptionist also informed me that in order to prevent further debit orders going off my account Planet Fitness will likely charge me a penalty fee of over R1000.

I am disgusted at the poor level of customer service and deliberate misrepresentation/poor ethical standards of your staff.
