Today I went to cancel my membership. I got a phone call a few weeks back telling me that the cost would increase, during this call I enquired on how I go about cancelling my contract and if there was anything I needed to know about this process. I was told that I would have to go to the branch and cancel. I got there, the manager treated me like I wasn't even human. he never once acknowledged I was standing right next to him and spoke about me in the most demeaning tone to his staff. Then I get told I still have to pay for next months gym fees because they require 20 business days to process the cancellation. 20 days is ridiculous. I am sure there are one or two people a month that cancel, does it take 10 to 20 days to process each person?
