Injury caused in parking lot

I have been a member for a number of years. About 2 month back as I was walking down the steps in the parking lot of VA I tripped and twisted my ankle- it turns out the edge of the stairs in the parking were broken away which is why I tripped.
I bandaged my ankle after hurrying home in sever pain as my baby was with the maid. I tried to stay off the ankle but was not so easy as I have a 1 year old to look after.nShortly after I had to travel but kept my ankle strapped for about 3 weeks. I was unable to go get an xray as I only haveHospital Medical Aid and would have had to pay from my own pocket. I am. Still struggling with my ankle and am extremely concerned there will be some lasting damage- I have even taken pics of the damaged step as proof. I am outraged that a facility like this can allow disrepair such as this to cause injuries to their members.
