Why debit my account without my consent?

I am so sick and tired of Planetfitness, I cancelled my contract with them in 2010 and somehow it was never cancelled because the manager that was working at the Moreleta Park branch resigned and left without cancelling the contract, in 2012 Planetfitness friends (Saya Recoveries) started calling me telling my contract was renewed and I owe 6800, I told them I cancelled the contract and they said they don't have a letter I should send it again, I then decided to send another one and guess what? today I woke up with a debit order of 250 that went off my account without my knowledge. I pay these guys 200 every month as per agreement and yet they do random debits on peoples accounts. Can someone please STOP this or i will take the matter to the ombundsman since I don't understand how the letters people send for cancellation go missing!!! I cancelled my contract and I have not signed for any renewal. Please stop this its just not on!
