Pensioner being taken to court for THEY'RE mess up

My mum's contract was expiring in january with no intent to renew the contract. I, myself, took the cancellation letter to virgin active and handed in at the front desk in december, a month before the contract was supposed to end. 6months down the line, virgin active is still debiting my mothers account, when queuried as to why they were still debiting the money, charmaine at head office said we have no proof that the letter was handed in but, however, she would contact karaglen gym and get back to my mother. To this day, we are still waiting for that. (Since april). My mum is now being taken to court, because of the utter negligence of the staff at virgin active edenglen. They obviously had not forwarded the cancellation letter on to head office and now my mum who is a pensioner is being taken to court because someone behind the counter didn't know how to handle a cancellation letter! Iv had the same problem with virgin active karaglen branch. And it proved the opposite as to what this charmaine woman is saying!!! Its an utter disgrace that you do not know how to handle a basic cancellation letter!! And now we must suffer for your staffs incompetance!!! DISGUSTING
