Edgars
Poor service received

When shopping at Edgars on Saturday morning, I saw a shirt on the top hangers that I wanted to try on but couldn't't reach. I looked around for a staff member to assist me but there was none. I then proceeded to walk around the shop to try and find a floor assistant but couldn't't find anyone. I then spotted a pipe lying underneath the clothes and tried to pry the shirt free with that, but to no avail. In the end I let the pipe fall just to make some noise - maybe someone would notice that I'm struggling then! Out of the depths of the shop a lady with the name of Thandi came to my aid. She said she would be with me shortly and then disappeared again. After another 10 minute wait I went to one of the cashiers to ask if they could maybe call somebody to help me. She pointed in a vague direction and at the other, far end of the store I saw Thandi dragging a long, heavy handyman's ladder towards me. She struggled with it but at last she reached me, just to tell me, after checking the shirts, that my size wasn't in stock! I was extremely frustrated because I had just wasted half an hour of my time trying to get assistance, and in the end all for nothing! Edgars won't see me again.
