Unnecessary fees on returning faulty goods

On 22/04 I went to Cavendish branch to return a brand new and unworn jacket that had a manufacturers default on one of the cuffs. I asked if I could have a replacement jacket. When looking on the system there was no stock at the Cavendish Branch but there was availability at other branches. I was told that I could either wait 5-6 weeks for it to be delivered - free of charge or alternatively pay a R30 fee to have it delivered within 5 days. Obviously I do not want to wait over a month for the item so I opted to pay the fee. I can understand paying the fee if I was ordering new stock but since it was due to a faulty product I really don't understand why I should have to pay at all? I am appalled at this process.
