Decaying chicken

Last night I opened a box of crispy and tender chicken I purchased earlier this week. I was so sickened when halfway through frying the most horrid smell came from the pan. I cut one open to find the chicken had gone yellow, almost orange with a slimy texture on the meat and the most nauseating smell. Surprised that the best before was a date in December 2013, I would hate to know what your rotten chicken would have tasted like then! I had to dispose of a whole box of chicken that should have fed my family. There are other, cheaper brands that I could have bought but opted for I&J instead because of its trusted quality. Sadly, that trust went into the rubbish bin with the rest of the rancid chicken. I bought this from Pick n Pay Parow, who insists that I should relay my complaint to you because I failed to bring the decaying pieces of chicken back to them.
