Ackermans
No space in storeroom, what an excuse!

My mom went to Ackermans to lay-bye some clothes for my daughter. When she got to the till, the lady told her that she couldn't take the clothes because there wasn't enough of them. She told my mom to go & take more clothes to increase the value. My mom then told her taht she couldn't afford more than what she had taken. The lasy said, 'our storeroom is full & I can't take such little items'. She then walked away & left my mom standing at the till. I had to drive there the following day to confirm this & unforetunately the lady in question was not there. I asked 1 of her colleagues what the minimum of a lay-bye is & she said they don't have 1 but ideally R300 because the store room is full. What I don't understand is why the storeroom & its emptiness or fit being full is my problem? I am angry because my mom had to go from Daveyton to Lakeside then Northmead because she couldn't find what she was looking for & after she found all this they told her stories. I then had to drive there the following day to something my mom could have done the day before. I unfortunately did not get the cashier's name but I am not imporessed with this service at all.
